Meet Cheddar! 🧀 (Egg and Biscuit are my siblings!)

Cheddar is a baby female Raza Canary. As of July 2026, she is 2 months old. She is a little cutie who would make an excellent pet but is not ready to breed yet as canaries reach sexual maturity at around 12 months. However, she is ready to join your family as a companion and get to know you!

Genetics: Cheddar’s parents are both Raza canaries so Egg is a 100% Raza. Raza canaries are a little smaller in stature and head shape than average canaries and are sized more like finches. They measure approximately only 4.5 inches in length. Their personality, however, is limitless.

What We Eat: Canaries enjoy a balanced diet of premium canary seed mixes, alternated with Harrison’s Ultra Fine Pellets to provide complete nutrition and variety. They need calcium provided via cuttlebone and occasional egg food or hard boiled egg. They also love fresh vegetables and fruits, including broccoli, kale, bok choy, romaine lettuce, carrots, bell peppers, peas, corn, cucumber, zucchini, apples, pears, blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, bananas, grapes, oranges, and watermelon!
